Dear Boundless Brilliance Community,
We hope this message finds you well. It is with a mix of sadness and gratitude that we announce the departure of Cherise Charleswell from her role as the Executive Director of Boundless Brilliance. Cherise has made the difficult decision to step down from the position in order to attend to urgent personal matters.
Since joining our organization in the fall of 2019, Cherise has been an instrumental leader, guiding us through a challenging time during the unprecedented circumstances brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic. Her dedication and perseverance enabled us to successfully transition our programming online and thrive. In addition, she guided us through the expansion of new chapters, established a robust Board of Directors and Advisory Council, and developed new curriculum and initiatives to support young STEM scholars.
We are immensely grateful for Cherise's invaluable contributions to Boundless Brilliance. Her commitment, vision, and tireless efforts have left a mark on our organization and both the college and elementary students that we serve. We will miss Cherise and all of her efforts to guide our organization.
In light of Cherise's departure, we are pleased to announce that Katie Wolber, our current Director of Programs, will be serving as the Interim Executive Director while we conduct a search for a new permanent Executive Director. Katie has been an integral part of our team, demonstrating exemplary dedication, creativity, and a deep understanding of our mission.
