Inclusive and Accessible STEAM Curriculum: Adjustment Techniques for Students with Cognitive and Physical Differences
In the Fall of 2022, Boundless Brilliance launched the STEM Initiative for Special Need Students based on the recommendation of our workshop facilitators and chapter members, who had found themselves in situations where they were entering classrooms without being informed that there were special need learners that they would have to provide program services to and had to quickly try to modify the selected planned activity from our curriculum in order to meet the needs of those students. The initiative was put in place to ensure that Boundless Brilliance lives up to its stated core values, particularly those on accessibility and inclusiveness.
