Volunteer Highlight: Lola Ravid

Boundless Brilliance would not be able to carry out its mission, provide amazing educational resources, and operate successfully for the past five years without the assistance of our dedicated volunteers and interns.

This month we would like to highlight the contributions of Lola Ravid, who is a volunteer contributor to the Boundless Brilliance blog. You can check out her latest article, “Healthy eating habits for the developing brain.”

Lola Ravid is a pediatric nurse and is passionate about education and research. In 2009, Lola graduated from Mount St. Mary's College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has had over ten years of combined experience working with children in hospitals and public school settings. She currently writes engaging content in order to educate and encourage lifelong learning in readers and includes children, parenting, and health topics in her work. Lola’s extensive experiences as a nurse, mother, traveler, and child advocate inspire her to complete each project with a relatable and evidence-based approach through her unique perspective.

Since 2016, Lola has volunteered with the Selective Mutism Association and is an accredited leader for La Leche League International. She is a polyglot, philomath, and self-proclaimed historian. Lola currently works from home and lives in Israel.
